Lexington Sampler Challenge: Block 5

The National Quilter’s Circle Lexington Quilt Block Challenge will only be available through August 8th!

How has the National Quilters Circle Quilt Block Challenge been going for you so far? We love seeing all the beautiful blocks you’ve created – what talented quilters! We’re already up to week 5: The Pinwheel Block!

For this challenge, we are creating the beautiful Lexington Sampler quilt, designed by the talented Susan Guzman of SuzGuz Designs.

This exciting 9-part block challenge pattern offers you a choice to make either a large throw size quilt, with a finished size of 68 ½” square, or a bed size quilt with a finished size of 88 ½” square. There will be a bonus block available to use in place of the center 15″ square, should you choose to make it. If you decide to make the throw size quilt, your challenge will end in Week 8; the bed size quilt will end Week 9.

If you haven’t signed up for the Quilt Block Challenge, there’s still time! You can sign up here to make sure you get the block assignments delivered to you inbox each week. And make sure to visit Susan at SuzGuz Designs to see more of her beautiful work!

New to quilting question... Block 4, center square looks more like a rectangle than a square is this due to something I cut incorrectly?...

I have the same printing problems that the other person mentioned. Had it on previous blocks as well. My printer prints everything else fine. Tried it on my husband’s printer too. It’s not a printer issue. It is something with the pattern file.

I am seeking colored pages on the download material but when I print them they come out in black. This has happened with the last three downloads, prior to that everything worked well in color. I am printing lots of other things with no color problems. Is there anyone can suggest something for me. Prefer color.
