Here's a quick tip for you when you're ironing and you're using different fabrics together. Have a press cloth or a press paper handy so that you don't melt anything when you're working. It's always a good idea to have a press cloth, uh, on your ironing surface. The other quick tip that I love is always have a stiletto next to your sewing machine when you're sewing because it helps you keep all those finicky bits in place as you're sewing along. I can't sew without it. That's a quick tip.
