Description

There are steps to creating patchwork that are vital to the process. The one featured here is pressing. It is important to take the time to press your patchwork as it is created and then again before delivering it to a longarm quilter or quilting it yourself. Seam allowances that are properly pressed, means a “flatter” quilt top and a less challenging quilting process. The quilting foot can successfully float over the seams for a more flawless quilting experience. So, as Penny Barnes suggests, always press for the best finish.
