With an early interest in all things crafty, Toby has taught herself everything from knitting to crochet, cross stitch to needle point and even tatting. While she came from a long line of sewers, no one else in her family had quilted. In 1985, Toby took a six-week long quilting course and has never looked back. Toby is an award-winning quilter who now runs her own shop, Gateway Quilts & Stuff, in addition to teaching, designing and of course quilting.
