I have never made a Mystery Quilt before, but have paper-piece so decided to try it. I have always wanted a dark blue and yellow quilt. I had the fabric purchased years ago but knew I’d never get a queen size made. Nor could I find a pattern I liked, or a third color to go with it. I’m going into this blind. I have made my first 3 blocks using my two colors and am ready for the next two. But, they all look so much alike (I have numbered them) I take it there “might” be some setting and border blocks? If I can find a third color I like in yellow and blue, will this turn out alright?

I was excited to try the mystery paper piecing quilt block challenge. I discovered 2 problems with block #1. Problem 1=For cutting instructions template A only on light side up & B & C dark side up or they don’t come out right when directions are followed. Problem #2=Paper piecing sheet sewing lines between B & C are incorrect compared to template. Did anyone else find these problems?

I wish to leave the group, my gollywog quilt was not intended to offend, stop designers from making the pattern, my daughter loved gollywogs as a child, this was meant to be a fun quilt, I no longer want to hear from the group , take me off your list

I saw comments on facebook that there was an error on block 4 and we could find the correction by going to file. It may be a stupid question but, how do I access the file to fine the correction?

has pattern 6 been offered yet? I have 1-5 patterns but it won’t let me go past that. I’ve been in the hospital and just got out this week so not sure if I missed it. Thanks

I’m excited to try a new challenge! I had trouble picking fabric when I haven’t seen a finished product. so I went simple, shaded yellow fabric with Ivory flowers and plain ivory. I’ll choose the sashing, boarders ( if there are any ), binding and backing after I have my blocks done.

I saw “corrections” to the patterns fly by, but can not locate them anymore. Where do I find them to apply to the “old” instructions. Is there an errata section to be found??
