We’re moving right along with the National Quilters Circle Quilt Block Challenge and we’re already up to week 6! We’re nearing the home stretch… time to start working on our sixth block: The Pleiones Star!
For this challenge, we are creating the beautiful Pleiades quilt pattern, designed by the talented Gina Perkes of The Copper Needle.

These patterns are both fun and frustrating. I am a novice quilter and I love the challenge.
Just realised there is a monochromatic link for Blocks 3-6 but I can’t find any link for Blocks 1&2. I may like to do that later.

Love these blocks
loving these patterns
Am finding the monochromatic pattern to have a few flaws with cutting of certain colors. Have had to cut extras of some colors and have had leftovers on some. I was able to work it out, but it was frustrating. I’m doing both quilts.
Is there a file for corrections? I have printed my patterns and have not started yet, today is the day I am ready to cut but I keep reading about having wrong measurements on the FB page. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks for the sew along, I sew enjoyed the last one too. Happy Sewing
love to quilt and always looking for different ways to use a pattern
