Thank you for the beautiful quilt challenge blocks am loving making everyone of them. The patterns are easy to understand and when finished love them all.
I’m using a charm pack, for color B…does it make any difference, if I make the HSTs separately…instead of with a 9 1/2″ X 4 1/2″ rectangle?
If course you can, it will just leave you with an extra seam, where the goose block wouldn’t. I’m not a fan of flying geese, so I usually opt to use a HST instead.
Block 5, Electra star for the Pleiades quilt, downloads, but says it’s in a non-valid format. I want a pdf file, like I had gotten for the previous 4 squares that downloaded with no problems. Can you correct and send me apdf for the 5th square? Thank you.

I’m late starting
Is there a complete picture of the entire quilt that is easy to access. It would be nice to have a close up picture of each block from the quilt, too. Do these things already exist and I just do not know how to find them?

Is there a video for block 5? I’m trying to figure out what the dimensions for the center block would be after I add the blue HST.
I have signed up twice for this challenge and have only received one email for one block. I think I am not the only one not receiving your quilt block emails. I am just going onto the facebook page instead.
I have signed up before the first block. I have received one of five! I have not been able to download the 5th as of yet
I am disappointed with the admin of this. I love doing the blocks, but only received emails for weeks 2 and 3. Had considered upgrading my membership but this ensures I won’t.

On Block 5, when pieces d and e are sewn to block c/f, what is the correct size of the finished unit? Mine appears to be too large.

Problems with star #5 – are there any pattern changes that need to be made-or am I the only one with issues?
Marybeth – did you figure out the problem – we are having issues with the size of the HST and wondered if the measurements are wrong. Our 5 1/4 inch blocks cut into 4 triangles are to small. Or the HST we made are to big – we are not sure which. We don’t want to trim down the HST if it changes the size of the block

I’m trying to do the block of the week. I am working on the star quilt. I’m missing 7,8,and 9 of these stars. If you put them in my email I never got them. How can I get the last 3 material requirements and pattern of these stars.

To those who are just now doing pattern block 5 – or for those who had issues with it —- BE AWARE —- the HST that you sew with fabrics B & C are WAY TO BIG. Why they didn’t fix this discrepancy in the pattern I don’t know. The two rectangles or strips say to cut them at 4 1/2 by 9 inches. You will have to cut them way back to make them fit.
Hi! I have been making the first four stars without any trouble but now with the Electra star the measures don’t match at the moment I had to ensamble . The points disappear when I ensamble the edges with the center part. Would you help me?
